Let me know what you're referring to, and I'll help determine if it's sarcasm or something else!

Currently, many dislike Ubisoft because they seem to disregard their customers' needs. I'm not suggesting anyone should stop supporting them, but it's important to understand that you shouldn't rely on them right now. Be cautious when considering a purchase. Avoid preordering unless absolutely necessary—cancel any pre-orders like Far Cry 4 if you have them. Wait for more reviews before buying, and only support games that truly meet quality standards. This approach would encourage better development and reduce the number of unquestioning buyers.

I typically avoid pre-ordering games, but it cost $40 on G2A a few weeks back and I found myself tempted. Although I usually enjoy Far Cry, I don’t want another broken experience right now. The fact that reviews are expected four days before launch helps ease my concerns.

That doesn't mean that the game is going to be great. They could still limit the number of review copies they send out, they could only send out copies of the console version, they could pull all kinds of shenanigans to make sure that you can't form a proper opinion in these four days. Don't trust Ubisoft at the moment or you might end up with a very unpleasant experience.

In my view, always remain cautious of any publisher or creator who insists on pre-ordering their work. They all share a similar motivation to be only as transparent as necessary. Ubisoft currently stands out in the right light.

They wouldn’t let a review be released early if they anticipated a negative reaction, especially since the game’s quality didn’t meet expectations. They clearly understood the issues with Assassins Creed and enforced a strict embargo until 12 hours after release. In today’s market, pre-orders aren’t necessary—digital versions are widely available. It makes sense to wait until you’re confident the game works well, but I still found it tempting to buy the $69.99 version for $42, as I did in my earlier post. Hopefully, this won’t lead to another frustrating experience like many others face now.

Right now it looks like many developers can release their games quickly, even if they're not perfect. They often feel pressure to meet deadlines no matter the quality. The yearly schedule seems to be the main reason for rushing. I only really trust two developers enough to believe they might push back if the game isn't polished, so Nintendo and Valve are the ones I expect to deliver a solid first day. If anyone else has done it, I'll assume they might have cut corners and wait for proof otherwise.
