I have a Xigmatek NRP-MC751 ATX PSU without the original connectors that fit into it. I’m looking to use it for a project and want it to function like a bench power supply. I possess the round bundle of wiring with the 20+4 Molex connector, but the remaining cables seem unique to this PSU. The online manual lists the pinouts for those wires, but it doesn’t clarify what each wire connects to. I can ground the power input and apply load across 5V, yet the manual states a minimum load is needed on each of the 12V rails to activate it. It shuts off almost instantly (under 0.5 seconds) when powered on. Can I identify the pin configuration using a multimeter? Ideally, anyone knows what these connections are?

Don't have knowledge of the pinout on the modular PSU board, but I understand it's a poor choice overall. It seems unnecessary to look for modular cables for this unstable component. This unreliable unit has no practical purpose, making any effort to find compatible cables pointless.

Multimeter available. The listed resources could be useful:

Guide to Testing Computer Power Supply | Simple Methods to Check PSU - TechDim
The best approach is to trace the pins and verify each one individually using the cables intended for your project.
Avoid changing the cables unless you confirm the measurements with the replacement ones.
