I've just started using Linux or Pinguy (not really used before) and run into a few issues. Mostly think they're small fixes, but I'm new to it. First, the desktop readout on the right side only shows system usage and running processes—does that need adjusting? Second, with Steam, when I try to add folders, it says the library folder must be on a mounted filesystem with execute permissions. Third, my Corsair K40 keyboard and R.A.T 3 mouse aren't working properly; I can't change the backlight on the keyboard, but the media keys function. The mouse works for a while then stops responding, so I replaced it with an older basic model. Lastly, I'm using a 4K monitor but can't find scaling options and have to set it to 1080p. I know these problems should be simple fixes, but I'm still learning Pinguy. TIA

Assuming it's a Conky script, they can be tailored to display various details. The Conky Homepage Arch Wiki explains whether games were installed on NTFS or Linux file systems like ext4 or FAT. You should move the games off those drives and format them to a Linux filesystem, or install the Linux versions. Regarding RAT3, it's unclear; the K40 likely needs a proprietary Windows program for backlight colors, which might work in Wine but with no guarantees.
