I’ve experienced consistent spike spikes every half second. Previously I had a ping of 20-40ms, but during these spikes it jumped to 80-200ms. I confirmed the issue isn’t with my Ethernet setup—trying the same connection on other PCs didn’t reproduce it, and using a hotspot still caused the problem. The issue started after replacing my SSD and reinstalling Windows, yet it persists. I suspect a software-related cause, though I’m not sure if any uninstalled programs from my old SSD are involved. I first noticed this while playing Rocket League; those spikes would disrupt gameplay for a few seconds. My system specs: Windows 10 Home, Ryzen 7 5800X, Gigabyte 3080ti, 32GB RAM, Corsair vengeance 3600, GSkill 3600, and Corsair RM850 power supply. I’m unsure if anyone else has encountered this firsthand, as our discussions haven’t captured the exact timing or solution. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
