Looking for the LGA 1156 socket diagram. I have a damaged, non-replaceable pin on my motherboard and need to understand its purpose. Searching online didn’t yield useful results beyond the restricted Intel site. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Its not necessarily helpful as I have done the same with my 1155 board. The diagram made it sound like it was important, but my board still works fine. So generally unless its clearly shorting out another pin I think you just have to see if it works and not worry about it if it does.

Currently, the observation is that one memory channel stopped functioning. It seems possible it relates to the memory controller pin.

Hey there! Did you manage to locate the pin diagram? It looks like you might have missed a socket pin, and it seems like your memory channel could be affected too. You have two 4 GB drives set up, but the system only recognizes one.
