Hello! I attempted to set up PIA this evening, but despite the green connection confirmation, I haven’t received a VPN IP address and can’t access any websites. I’ve reinstalled the app, changed the port and connection type, and even used the help chat to restart it. Occasionally I manage a connection, but only twice in the past few hours. I also disabled and then re-enabled my firewall settings on both my router and Windows Defender, but that didn’t help. I’m new to networking and live in the US with Comcast internet, which says they don’t restrict VPN use. Any advice from this community would be really useful.
They mentioned they enjoyed it, which helped me understand. I'm still getting familiar with this part of the PC world and not sure about setting things up properly.
