Hey everyone, I was considering using a VPN with private access. Here are my questions: 1. Should I use their client or connect via the standard Dedault Windows VPN setup? 2. Is it possible to link my router to a VPN so all devices join automatically and avoid the 5-device limit? Thanks for any help with secure browsing!

They use the client you mentioned—it's very straightforward and provides clear visual feedback about connectivity. 2. You can install Open VPN using DDWRT or Tomato, and they also offer ready-made routers to ensure a stable link. If you choose a router, it treats each device as one connection to the VPN, limiting you to around five simultaneous connections. Be aware that certain services like HULU or Netflix may not function properly through a VPN, so plan accordingly.

Using the VPN client simplifies the process. You can also utilize the Windows built-in VPN client to link with the PIA VPN server. The guide is accessible via the provided link.

I prefer a tidy Windows without any installed apps. That’s why I’m checking if it functions well with the built-in Windows VPN. The same applies to my phone, connecting via settings on iOS without using the app.

The app's main purpose is the kill switch, which halts any data flow if the VPN fails. It also seems to employ stronger encryption compared to Windows VPN.
