It seems you're unsure about moving from CE to PFSense Plus. Have you heard that PFSense Plus is now available for home users at no cost? You've been using CE before, and everything worked well. Would you consider upgrading? Are there any users here who run Plus without the extra features listed?

I joined the Lawrence Services forum to get advice, and received some insights. The most notable point came from Tom about Plus adding ZFS boot environments—a feature I appreciate (other benefits of Plus aren't important to me). Deciding to upgrade, I installed it originally with ZFS, everything worked smoothly without removing any packages. pfblockerng mentioned some changes, so my setup needed adjustments in the newer version. Being cautious, I opted for the updated release, which proved much more user-friendly. All systems are functioning well. It seems the update was worthwhile. Now I’m planning to look for wood and hope it didn’t bring bad luck… My initial impressions suggest I’d consider another upgrade.

I may consider upgrading... I have been on CE for a few years, but I suppose there is no good reason not to go + vs CE.
