Persuade me, why is Google Chrome good?
I use Waterfox, which is essentially the standard Firefox release but optimized for better performance and a 64-bit version.
I keep using Chrome because it keeps my favorites in sync across all my devices and platforms—my Mac, Android phone, and Windows machines all display the same list. If that worked, I might consider changing, but it’s mainly a browser. It feels like having a favorite text editor too, which makes sense. In the end, it’s just a text editor; Chrome is simply a browser.
those who dislike a browser that consumes many resources and slows down performance.
Chrome is chosen for its speed and strong security features. It outperforms many other popular browsers, especially Firefox, in safety. Although it consumes more resources because it runs per process, having 8 GB of RAM provides ample space for a smooth, secure browsing experience. It offers solid stability compared to alternatives that use sandboxed processes.
Choosing a browser shouldn't focus solely on features; security matters most. Without add-ons, the emphasis shifts to the websites you visit and your trust in them. I believe Firefox remains more secure than Chrome with extensions. ScriptSafe isn’t nearly as strong as Firefox without scripts.
