Persistent issues with Linux on USB drives
Persistent mode is causing issues. I attempted a persistent Linux Mint USB a few months ago, but whenever I booted from it, it would show the loading screen for about five seconds before crashing to a terminal with an error message. I tried again today and the same problem occurred. Anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this? It’s Linux Mint 19.1 (AMD-x64), created using multibootusb, with 4GB persistence.
The device cannot access the root filesystem; consider adjusting the persistent settings on your USB drive. What application were you using? Look for updated instructions and tools.
Could you consider a complete installation if it’s feasible? I’ve seen a post that offers useful tips on this topic.
