Beeping.mp3 Hello everyone. My custom-built PC was assembled in February of last year. Here are the initial specifications: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, AMD Wraith Prism CPU cooler, MSI RX 5700 XT OC Mech graphics card, MSI B550 Gaming Plus motherboard, Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB case with 16GB dual RAM, EVGA SuperNova 850 G+, PSU from Seagate (previously a Seasonic S12III 650W), Sabrent Q4 2TB NVMe SSD, Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD, Lian li Lancool II Mesh RGB case, plus a Lian li ST120 3-fan setup to complete the interior. Previously, I used an Amazon MSET MS6-HB case. Recently, I’ve detected a persistent beeping sound from the motherboard near the RAM area. It sounds like three short beeps followed by two seconds of silence, repeating continuously. This noise doesn’t seem to impact my performance noticeably, though it bothers me. The PC starts up and runs normally, but I can only detect it when close by and have to listen for a few seconds. It continues even when the system is powered off or in sleep mode. The sound has been present since before I installed the new case, but I wasn’t expecting it. After replacing the PSU, the issue remained. I also experienced a black screen with an “Overclocking Fail” message after reseating RAM, and the BIOS showed A-XMP profile 1. I’m not confident about overclocking and changed the setting to off. The noise continues now that it’s on. If it’s harmless, I’ll leave it as is. I don’t think it’s a warning code—it’s just a steady rhythm without any harsh tones or loudness. It might have been there before the case change, but I’m not sure. This is unusual for me; usually such sounds signal something wrong, but I haven’t encountered this before.

I struggle to hear some sounds at the beginning; there’s a lot of noise overall. I’m looking into whether Motherboard has one, since it doesn’t seem to have a buzzer, so that might rule it out. Do you know if there are any HDDs on the back of the case? Also, could it be a coil wine issue—possibly from the GPU—and why would it start now instead of when it was new?

Apologies for the bad video, here's a better one, audio only this time. I do have one HDD in the bottom of the case. Beeping.mp3
