Computer:
maximus x apex
G-SKILL-TridentZ -2-x-8GB DDR4-SDRAM DDR4-4400
Corsair H100i V2
I am increasing the clock speed to 5Ghz.
Timing configuration for RAM is XMT DDR4 4400.
Speed setting adjusted to DDR4 4000 (4400 not compatible) with settings 19 19 19 39 2T.
Performance test results show:
Memory Mark 2464: 82% percentile
Memory read cache: 34866 (99%)
Memory write: 3488 (22%)
Memory read uncached: 22474 (99%)
Memory latency: 16
Threaded: 45476 (99%)
Database operations: 76 67% percentile.
Why are the writes so slow? What adjustments should I make?

Question from willem.exist2: User is experiencing slow write and read speeds on a Maximus X Apex with the specified G-Skill model. The system uses a Corsair H100i V2, overclocked to 4.5Ghz at 29% for temperature control. RAM timing is set to XMT DDR4 4400, with a speed configuration of DDR4 4000 (4400 not working). Performance test results show memory latency and read speeds within acceptable ranges, but writes remain slow. The user seeks advice on improving write performance.
