Yesterday I installed the Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black on my 3600, which lowered the temps, but it’s still a concern since idling brings it to 40-50°C and gaming hits 55-65°C... is this typical? I applied Arctic MX-4 for thermal paste.

It seems the temperatures were stuck around 55-65°F, while gaming ran between 70-85°F.

You're running smoothly at 60 RPM and 80 frames per second—perfect heat levels. Just keep an eye on things if they climb above 90.

Your RX580 with the 8GB Armor card is maintaining a stable temperature of around 75°C during Apex Legends at low settings, with a steady range of 72-75°C. It doesn’t seem to be overheating, so you’re not seeing excessive heat issues. AMD cards can run hot sometimes, but this level is typical.

It’s a pleasant temperature. Most AMD graphics cards stay cool, though they might have been referring to Vegas—known for high heat, loud noises, and heavy power use.

Consider the range of temperatures you experience while streaming and gaming. YouTube can reach around 50-55°C, whereas gaming sessions typically stay between 70-76°C.
