In short, recently I reinstalled Windows 10 after noticing the Oculus app didn’t work well on version 11. I ran into problems with VR games through it, which were rare before. A friend mentioned my machine had an extra RAM slot, so I considered adding another 8GB stick to boost performance—especially for Minecraft. After that upgrade, my PC behaved oddly; Minecraft wouldn’t load mods, and games like Postal 4 and GMod kept triggering memory errors. Someone in a Discord group suggested the issue might be related to the RAM not working properly with the new stick I ordered (different speeds, etc.). I decided to get another Crucial RAM module, thinking it would help. Still, the crashes continued. One theory is that the slowest RAM stick limits performance, but I’m unsure if it’s the speed or compatibility. Any advice would be appreciated!
