Performance Problems in Grand Theft Auto V and Scooby Mod
Performance Problems in Grand Theft Auto V and Scooby Mod
Hello Everyone. I have Windows 10.019045.5247 x64 installed on my Hewlett Packard OMEN 15 Gaming Laptop from 2018. The laptop was released in 2018.
My specifications are:
Processor: Intel Core i5 7300HQ 2.5Ghz
Memory: 32 GB DDR4 2400Mhz
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 1050 4GB DDR5
Storage: 1 TB SSD (Non NVME)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10.0.19045.5247 x64
I have installed the DirectX June 2010 SDK from Scooby Mod Discord Server and it worked fine. Then I added all the Visual C++ Runtime Redistributables from the provided link. Before Battleye, I could run games with the Mod Menu without any performance problems. Now, due to Battleye, I can't run Scooby Up 2 Date Mod without graphics issues. 😢😭
I also set up my NVIDIA Control Panel PsysX to use the graphics card and another application I use for Grand Theft Auto at its highest settings. It consistently achieves over 60 FPS without needing a mod menu. So? It doesn’t seem like I have any UEFI malware.
My 3D settings are configured perfectly, giving excellent performance in GTA V.
Reach out to the mod creator and request assistance from their customer support. If they fail to offer help, consider removing the mod yourself.
Hey everyone on Earth, pay attention! 🎤
I switched my NVIDIA PhysX setting to CPU and no longer face performance issues with Scooby Mod for Grand Theft Auto V on Windows 10.0.19045.5247 x64.
Previously, I had problems when the setting was set to Graphics, but now it’s working smoothly.
The developer told me to install Direct X SDK from June 2010 and the Visual C++ Runtime Redistributables, and now everything is functioning properly. Thank you!
Interesting matter. Appreciate the update shared as it may be revisited later with a solution. Great job on the fix! Enjoy the game.
👍
NOPE There Are Still Major Performance Issues. It Probably Is A Bug That Needs Fixing.
When vanilla is active, do you still face performance problems? Simply talking about it here doesn't solve the issue. You should reach out to Rockstar and report the problem(s).
However, if you're using several mods and they function correctly but performance drops (like stutters), it's not the game or Rockstar's responsibility. The cause lies in running multiple mods together, which overwhelms your PC's capabilities.

"Vanilla" means the game as it first arrived, before any third-party unofficial modifications.
