I’ve been assisting a friend who isn’t nearby. He recently told me his game barely runs except for one title, Tom Clancy’s Phantom Pain. I know he uses Windows 11 and has an RX6600XT GPU, but he hasn’t shared much else. I’ve been trying to figure out possible problems and asked if anyone else experienced similar issues in the past few days.

Tell him to first identify the CPU using Task Manager, then note the RAM amount. Advise installing MSI Afterburner from msi.com. Instruct him to display game stats by following the provided configuration steps. Also, run Cinebench R23 (maxon.net) and share the results.

He’s got a Ryzen 5 5600G with 16GB Corsair Vengeance 3200MHz, but his memory stats show he’s only running the original speeds. It seems the problem might be that he’s been using this machine for just under a year without any issues, yet now games are unplayable.

He uses a Ryzen 5 5600G with 16GB Corsair Vengeance 3200MHz. His memory performance screenshot shows only stock speeds, suggesting the problem might be from using this setup for a long time without issues. Edited May 14, 2023 by ReaperMopar. Added a screenshot to the message.
