the only situation where the cpu becomes a limiting factor is when it struggles to render as many frames as the gpu can handle. this usually happens at higher resolutions like 1080p with fast refresh rates. most contemporary gpus can manage 150 fps or better, so if the cpu can't keep up, it will cause a bottleneck. however, the greater the graphical demand, the lower the likelihood of success. devices with six cores or more and produced within the past five years should work well!
