My processor is operating excessively without any cause, I haven’t modified the BIOS since I assembled the system a while back, and this seems to be an unusual issue. I’ve restarted several times, installed drivers for all components, yet nothing has changed. Or perhaps it’s not functioning properly and I’m misunderstanding. Please tell me what’s going on. All cores are maintaining their maximum base clock speeds.
I understand it isn't shown in the image, but all cores frequently jumping to max clocks is unusual. This behavior isn't typical for Hwinfo. Your temperatures are definitely indicating the CPU is under heavy load—previously around 35°C now ranging from 43°C to 51°C at full speed.
Do you have a Ryzen processor? In many cases the frequency data isn't accurate. If it is, Ryzen Master will give you the right value. It seems to align well with HWInfo64's "Effective Clock" measurement. Keep in mind that cores often increase their clock speed when the OS runs background tasks or apps open. That's typical behavior—it's just that most software reports the slowdown too much.
Task Manager seems acceptable for most basic tasks, though the Ryzen CPU frequency isn't ideal. All other metrics—CPU usage, GPU activity, RAM, disk activity—appear normal and can be checked if needed. Brief spikes in cores are typical, especially from background OS processes. No major concerns here.
