Hey there, so I moved from Windows 10 to 11 and noticed some changes in game performance. For Final Fantasy 16, I used to run smoothly at 120fps, but now it’s mostly around 70fps with frequent drops. I’m wondering what I can do about it. PC specs: CPU – AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, GPU – ZOTAC RTX 3070Ti 8GB, RAM – VENGEANCE RGB PRO 16GB DDR4 3200MHz. Think Windows 11 is not great, so I’m considering going back to Windows 10. Thanks!

The game leans heavily toward high performance settings. Are you adjusting it to the suggested levels or pushing everything to its maximum?

I also checked for optimized configurations, which helped a little. It ran at 70 fps but had many interruptions. Perhaps Windows 10 remains the best choice for gaming, after all.

Consider upgrading or starting fresh. I've noticed quite a lot of odd behavior after several 10- to 11-level updates, so a clean installation is usually the best choice.

I noticed 16GB RAM on the 11 model isn't performing well, so keep an eye on how it's using memory and check for active processes. It might not be at 80% utilization.

It might be influencing performance because many deblocking tools can impact unrelated systems. If you need "debloated" Windows 11 or IoT versions, they’re available directly.
