It would be useful to check if the results match for SMT (AMD HT) as well.

This effect is usually seen only on older Intel chips since newer models already perform well in games and maintain solid frame rates. For systems with older hardware that introduced hyperthreading recently, such as mine, it might boost performance. Disabling SMT on older AMD processors could potentially increase FPS.

I just returned into the game, mainly doing solo raids to catch up. I'm playing at 1440p using a GTX1660 and an i3 12100f, which performs similarly to your CPU. In solo raids and open areas, it reaches 160 fps with crisp text, while in tight spaces it drops to 60 fps. Testing shows the CPU becomes the limiting factor, especially in crowded zones where it lags 25-30 ms. The GPU is busy at 60-70% usage, while the CPU stays around 50-60%. On a single core, performance spikes significantly. You might want to upscale from the native resolution and cap the frame rate with better settings to ease the CPU load.

Your CPU appears to be operating at around half capacity, but you're still experiencing low frame rates. This suggests your GPU or game configuration might be the bottleneck. I recommend reviewing your GPU utilization, refreshing your drivers, and reducing in-game graphics settings. Additionally, stopping other background applications can help reclaim system resources.

Reviewing the video benchmark shows minor issues that aren't major problems. Focusing closely on the metrics, CPU usage stays around 50-60%, sometimes holding steady at 50%. This could be due to the game running on Unreal Engine 3, which was popular from the early 2000s to around 2010—far older than current hardware. It makes sense that such an engine might struggle with modern systems. To improve performance, small adjustments or tweaks might help, but it won't require buying new equipment. Most people won’t notice unless they actively check the sub-forum.
