I'm really looking forward to Battlefield Hardline and got the early access. I saw the performance was quite poor on my overclocked 780 (1077/1130). On Ultra at 1080p, I was getting about 65-80 fps in the Bank map, and it dropped significantly when things got intense like with gas grenades or molotovs. Is this mainly because the graphics in Hardline are better than BF4's, or is it just not well optimized for its beta version?

It's a beta version, likely with an older game build. Performance isn't fully optimized yet. BFH seems to run smoothly, especially with two Titans and Nvidia surround. You're using a monitor that might struggle above 60 FPS? Beta graphics could be less polished than in the main release.

Battlefield's visuals remain the same since BF3, which suggests they might not be optimized.

Frostbite 3 is better then frostbite 2. So BF4 has better graphis then 2. And @ APrettyCoolWalrus Wut, isint the 780 neck to neck and even a little better then the 290x? At max settings @ 1080p I get roughly Minimum of 80ish and average of 100ish. About 20fps better then bf4. Or it might just be Im using DX12

The item features a red color throughout its back and displays a prominent "3D" emblem on the display.

It looks like I’m the only one who prefers red and black... Ouch. From the chat, others were getting much lower FPS on a 970—probably because of VRM settings, even though it’s still under 3 gigs. Maybe they’re just tuning for AMD?
