I’ve recently been playing Grand Theft Auto and, in the single-player campaign, I consistently achieve an average frame rate of between 90 and 120 frames per second when using medium-high graphics settings. This corresponds to approximately 40-50% utilization of my graphics card and 40-70% use of my central processing unit. During solo online gameplay, I observe a frame rate ranging from 40 to 80 FPS accompanied by 20-40% GPU usage and 40-50% CPU load. However, in full public multiplayer sessions, the average frame rate drops to 30-60 frames per second even with the graphics set to their lowest levels. In other titles, such as Forza Horizon 4, I can maintain a steady 120 FPS at high settings with nearly complete (99%) GPU utilization. My system temperatures are stable, with my CPU operating between 20 and 45 degrees Celsius, and my maximum GPU temperature fluctuates between 30 and 60 degrees Celsius. I have no water cooling solution in place. My Windows power plan is configured for Ultimate Performance, and all drivers are updated to the latest versions. Here’s a breakdown of my hardware specifications:

CPU: P9X79
Processor: Intel Core i7-4820K 3.7GHz (non-overclocked)
Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 970 OC STRIX
Memory: G.Skill 16GB (4x4GB) Quad Channel DDR3 1600MHz RAM
Storage: Samsung 850 Evo 256GB SSD
Hard Drive: 7.2K RPM HDD

Does this represent the complete processor utilization? Complete processor utilization is generally not very helpful; it’s important to track each individual core and thread. Are any specific cores reaching 100 percent capacity?

The entire processor was utilized, but individual cores didn’t exceed 100%. The greatest core activity occurred with CPU3, peaking at 70% during gameplay in GTA. All other cores maxed out at 50%.
