I'm facing an issue with Fortnite where my FPS frequently drops to 60 during low FPS moments in Arena or Normal Game, but it returns to normal in Creative. My CPU and GPU usage stay around 63% and 70%, respectively, especially in Competitive mode with a 240 FPS cap. The drops become more severe when the game is unlimited. I own a Ryzen 5 3500X, 16 GB RAM at 3600 MHz, and a GTX 1070. All settings and drivers are optimized, but performance still suffers. Anyone have a solution or fix?

Creative might feel less demanding compared to the other options. Those alternatives are indeed competitive. Your setup with six cores and six threads could be under significant strain, especially when running at high frame rates.

It requires less effort, the frame has been working well for a day or two until three days ago

You recently purchased a Ryzen 5 3500X, RX 5600 XT, and 16GB of RAM at 3200MHz. You're experiencing severe FPS drops in Fortnite when using low settings, making it nearly unplayable. Interestingly, other AAA games run smoothly with stable 70-90 FPS. You're unsure what might be causing the issue.
