Performance issues on my PC are quite common.
Hi, I bought the Division on Steam today and was a bit disappointed because it was running at 20fps even on the lowest settings. My PC setup includes an AMD A8-6600K with Corsair H55 RAM, a GTX 560TI, MSI A78-E35 motherboard, a 1TB HDD with Samsung 850 EVO, and a 500W Corsair PSU in a NZXT S340 case. I know it's not the top-tier configuration, but I thought it would handle GTA 5 at 60fps. No budget for upgrades, any advice? Thanks!
Playing GTA 5 Ultra at 60fps with a 560ti is challenging; even a 980 struggles to keep stable frame rates. The GPU usage appears high under these conditions.
It works. I own one. Just enable fullscreen and lower the volumetric fog to its minimum, as that’s usually the biggest performance hit. Also reduce the object density for better stability.
I built my system from scratch and modified almost every component except the mainboard, memory, and processor. I’ve noticed something unusual. Can I repurpose my RAM as virtual memory? I understand it might seem odd, but some systems do this.
