There were performance problems with my PC, and I'm unsure of the cause. When playing games such as Genshin or Minecraft, my frame rate drops below 60 FPS. My system includes a Ryzen 5 5600X, 16GB RAM, and an RTX 2070S. Someone could help me understand what's happening.

Hello there,
Check which Windows power plan is active. Try the high performance profile and test it.
If you don’t have a specific plan, install it by opening powershell and running: powercfg -duplicatescheme 8c5e7fda-e8bf-4a96-9a85-a6e23a8c635c
Press enter. Then choose the appropriate plan to see if it improves performance.
Also, ensure your system/chipset drivers are current.

Is there a Ryzen power plan available? If not, download the newest chipset drivers and see if that assists. You might also try running an HWMon/Info instance to identify any 100% usage on CPU, RAM, GPU, or SSD. Is this issue present in all games or just those two? Your system should be struggling with those games!

the only power plan available is balanced, power saver, and now high performance. Also when I check my cpu and gpu usage it seems to be fine, i don't know what happened. And to answer the question about having this issue only in those games, it happens on almost every game and became very clear to me. I tried playing the battlefield beta today and was getting 10 fps even on the lowest settings.

when playing games your cpu runs at 60c while the gpu is near 70-72c and when idle it drops to about 45-50c with the gpu at 60-65c
