Dear everyone, I'm writing this under pressure. I've just managed to get back into gaming and set up my old machine again. But soon I hit a new issue that's unfamiliar to me. This is what's happening (see also: YouTube crash video): whenever I start any of these games—Anno 1800, No Mans Sky, Battlefield 3 & 4—I generally have no problems. Only after a brief play session does my screen go dark and I can't connect to a signal. The fans still spin, but the rest of the system works fine (sound plays). After rebooting on Windows, I sometimes need to turn on the GPU in Device Manager again. In less demanding games like Binding of Isaac, this doesn’t happen, and I can play for hours without issues. My setup includes: a Ryzen 7 5800X AMD 6900 by Sapphire, 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO @3600, ASUS ROG Strix B550-I, Fractal Celsius 240 cooler, and a V850 SFX PSU. I usually run Windows 11, but I've tried the latest Ubuntu versions for testing. All hardware was purchased about two years ago. What I've tried so far: re-seating the GPU, reconnecting cables, undoing overclocking, cleaning Windows and Ubuntu, swapping RAM sticks in various configurations, installing new drivers, and disabling auto driver setup. I'm stuck at a crossroads. My thoughts are: If it's the power supply unit, I'm lucky; if not, it's probably the graphics card. What do you think? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I just want to enjoy my time off without getting bogged down in tech problems :/

I don't have real-time access to inventory details, but you can check local electronics stores, online marketplaces, or specialized component suppliers for available spare PSUs and GPUs.

Have you checked the stability of your rams?

Unfortunately, I didn't manage to do it. I shared it with a neighbor some time ago.

Up until now, I've only checked them under various settings (each stick separately, pairs together, and each stick in separate RAM slots)

Currently it continues to operate smoothly with no issues. No errors or crashes have occurred.

Are you seeing no response from the fans? Doesn't it seem like it's getting too hot? It might be shutting down because of overheating. Would you like me to adjust the fan speed to 50% for minimum and check if that causes issues?
