I’ve got a solid internet connection, but the keyboard is acting up like crazy. I fixed the lag once before, but now it’s really slow. Anyone have any tips to help? It’s getting frustrating!

Consider mentioning the keyboard type, whether it's wired or wireless, and check the computer specifications to determine if the issue isn't related to Fortnite performance.

your laptop runs with an i3 11th gen processor, 20gb of RAM, and integrated graphics. all settings are set to low, which lets the game run smoothly at about 30 fps. however, even the built-in keyboard shows some delay. you mentioned a school laptop with an i3 10th gen and 8gb of RAM that runs the same game without issues and with more consistent performance.

The RAM setup is 20 gigabytes, which might seem a bit unusual.

I understand it's a bit confusing, but it seems like you're using a 16GB drive in slot 1 and one of the original 4GB drives in slot 2.

i thought so... well, weird things you're experiencing can indeed be caused by misconfigured ram... i know its hard to test, you could remove the old 4gb stick and see if that improves anything. or get a 16 or 32gb kit. its a shot in the dark, but something is causing these issues and that's one of the possible reasons. otherwise make sure literally everything is up to date software wise.

It seems the issue wasn't just the new RAM upgrade. The delay was already present before that change.
