I personally don’t really trust benchmarks. They work well for numbers and competition, but usually you can adjust your settings to get better performance with a particular app, only to freeze when trying anything else. Benchmarks help spot improvements over time in hardware and can quickly check if the system is stable. You can still gather data—mostly CPU benchmarks work since many games don’t stress the CPU much—but I think we should prioritize your gaming experience instead.
It’s good to know, but you might want to experiment with the overclock options for your GPU or CPU first. Both AMD Adrenalin have settings for overclocking and undervolting, so testing them could give you better results.
I wouldn't go that route. Auto overclocking isn't ideal; sometimes they deliver solid overclocks, other times not at all. It's similar to drug sniffing—statistically no better than a coin flip. I'd recommend setting everything in BIOS, using default values, enabling PBO (optional), and turning on XMP/DOCP. Keep the rest unchanged. Overclocking usually only boosts performance by 5-10%, so we should tackle the root causes before pushing limits further.
After the PCs have been running for roughly 30 minutes following a short break, the GPU current clock appears to fluctuate between 50 and 1500.
Display the sensors section of HWinfo and GPU-z. It resembles the format you mentioned.
Do you have an additional display? You can close the summary window in HWinfo, increase the sensor view, then press the <--> button at the bottom left to adjust the screen size. I believe GPU-Z works well with us. Try capturing a screenshot during gameplay if you can; otherwise, hit the clock on the lower right and return into the game, let it run briefly before taking the shot.
Certainly! I’ll provide a more detailed overview while also showing the GPU information clearly.
