Yeah, it seems like the app might be having a CPU issue. Are you sure that's what you're experiencing?

Huh, it does look like you're power limited on the CPU. Was that taken while the game was running? Weirdly the GPU usage graph on Task Manager is barely anything at all. The integrated GPU was showing more usage than the 1650. You are set to run the game on the 1650, not the UHD graphics right? At the moment of the HWinfo screenshots, the GPU is drawing 15W and the CPU is also drawing 15W Looking at the data in HWInfo, here's what my interpretation of what's going on: 1. At the start of the game, CPU boosts up to full PL2 power limit (78W), and you're running at somewhat normal FPS. 2. The CPU hits the temperature limits defined by Lenovo's power settings (89* it looks) and starts thermal throttling. 3. This results in the PL1 power limit being applied, (15W) and that's how you end up with the 13.725W power the CPU is currently drawing. 4. 15W power on the CPU is starving the GPU of info, so it's showing a utilization throttle, and drawing only 15W of the potential 50W max (which HWinfo does show it drawing at some point) If this is actually what's occuring, there's 2 things I recommend trying. 1. You need to play around in either the BIOS or any Lenovo control center app the L340 uses, and see if there's a performance mode to turn on, or a power saving mode to turn off. Something that changes the 15W PL1 limit. 2. If you can't find anything like this, a quick-fix or test to try, is to go into the windows power settings and actually restrict the max CPU power . This will force the CPU to operate at base clock (2.4). You will still be CPU limited, but hopefully this also keeps the thermal throttle and PL1 limit from kicking in. With the PL1 limit, you're showing 2.17 on the CPU anyway, possibly 2.4 will be better. Do the same thing with the game and HWinfo with that setting, and see if anything improves. If it does, at least you've definitely narrowed it down to this PL1 limit being the issue. The hard fix is probably some Lenovo BIOS or control center setting I bet, but I can't say for sure how to check that. Checking for BIOS or firmware updates from their support site may be the answer too

Exactly what activity was happening at the time depends on the context, but recent GPU usage data indicates no significant load during the snapshot window. The game likely wasn't running, or it was paused briefly before the capture. CPU utilization appears high—around 40-50%—so checking the Processes tab would reveal resource-heavy processes.

It was strange to switch tabs while playing and I captured this photo, but it’s not quite right. Check this out.

examined the screenshot you referenced. I opted for a borderless window to capture a live image from another application. It’s much more intuitive—clearly shows what it says. The processor seems to be an imposter.

Your PC isn't running any other programs during this task. Have you reviewed the Processes section and sorted them by CPU usage?

Hmm, looks like you're managing your power well overall. The CPU usage is around 90%, which is typical, and the GPU is only about half used. The frame rate seems low—maybe VSync is enabled? Checking that setting could help improve performance.

Yes, VSync off causes noticeable issues but works at lower settings. At higher resolutions it becomes difficult to play smoothly. You might face performance problems due to your processor's limits. It’s typical for the i59300H with four cores.
