Hey everyone, here’s what I have set up so far:

*Processor: Nzxt S340 (regular, not elite)
*Graphics: Gigabyte z370 Aorus Gaming 7, i7-8700K
*Monitor: Evga Supernova G2 650W, 1TB Samsung 850 EVO 2.5" SSD (Steam & Kontakt libraries)
*Storage: 250GB NVMe, 2x Samsung EVO drives (OS & apps)
*GPU: Evga GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
*Cooler: Thermaltake Premium Plus with TT RGB (front 2 intakes, rear push/pull)
*Monitor RAM: 32GB GDDR5

I usually hit over 90fps in Battlefield 1, but with Far Cry 5, Ghost Recon Wildlands and Assassin's Creed Origins I’m stuck at 35-45fps. What’s going on? Could it be something with the GPU or monitor? And please, don’t suggest lowering my video settings—those are worth the investment! Thanks for any tips you can share.

There appears to be an obstruction affecting the CPU or GPU performance. Consider enabling a high-performance profile for both components. Disable all CPU power states and turn off BIOS EIST, as these can reduce voltage and clock speeds to conserve energy. Adjust the pre-render frame setting to 1 on the NVIDIA control panel (or set to 2 if a lower value provides better results). I believe this should resolve the issue. Are you viewing the display at 1080p?

It's a high-resolution ultra-wide display. Keep an eye on temperatures and resource usage (MSI Afterburner overlay helps identify issues).

Let me help you understand what you're trying to do.
@ravinder2lf you're asking about adjusting settings in the BIOS, but you're unsure how to do it step by step.
Could you clarify which specific feature or setting you want to change?

It's also a gigabyte z97 board. Look for advanced settings in the frequency section, where you can adjust those options.

Alright everyone, I removed my Nvidia drivers and replaced them with the 388.00 update. It really resolved the low FPS issue. Now playing Far Cry 5, Assassin's Creed: Origins and Ghost Recon Wildlands gives me 60-85 FPS! The stuttering has lessened too—still occasional pauses every few minutes, but it’s much better. Thanks again!

I turned off prefetch and disabled superfetch, eliminating any stuttering completely!
