You can totally play the game by yourself (single player). It is a free roam racing game... so many things to do. Not as "sim" heavy as the other Forza games (non-horizon) but still amazing. The only times you'll dip is most likely in the forest/jungle when it's raining or potentially in crowded city.

They offer distinct experiences. Project Cars delivers a highly realistic simulation with limited track choices, while FH3 provides an arcade-style adventure in a vast open world. Personally, FH3 feels much more enjoyable.

Maybe I'll try this later and just install Apex right now.

F7 sounds lovely, though for an open-world experience I'd recommend Horizon 3. Have you tried Horizon 1 or 2? @Zodiark1593

The nearest match could be NFS:U2. I liked that game too. I also really enjoyed Gran Turismo 4.

The horizon games offer a wide variety of enjoyable activities... I recommend grabbing it. Playing at lower settings won't affect the core gameplay! (Only the visuals are impacted, of course...)

I've only enjoyed single-player games so far, but I'm still hooked. Now I'm diving into the hotwheels DLC.
