Hi everyone, just wanted to ask about running FH3 on PC after playing Apex and similar games. What hardware are you using, and what do you expect the performance to be like when it launches? No worries if this isn’t the right place for the discussion.

I don't plan to use FH3 with my setup. I have a GTX 760 and an i5-4460. Possibly keep it on lower settings or skip it altogether.

Hey, I hope it runs smoothly at a medium level. I know it doesn’t work with SLI, so I might have to lower the settings on a 980 instead.

I operate Apex at over 60 fps using a blend of medium and high configurations on my FX 6300 and R9 280x (Gigabyte windforce). *Except during slow moments in a big car crash at the end of La Source on the Circuit De spa francorchamps circuit* Edited September 21, 2016 by JJHW149

You're experiencing problems with Apex on your system, even though you have a 970 and an i5 3570. It might help to check the specific version of Apex you're running and ensure your hardware meets its requirements.

It seems a 780 might outperform an Xbox One's graphics card, so you should be able to launch it.

Additionally, it doesn't meet the 1080p resolution requirement, and it isn't running at 60 frames per second. We need a higher frame rate.

I anticipate it will function on your PC using a 950. Improvements won't be drastic, but they shouldn't be bad either.

I anticipate strong performance. 1070 and 4690k handled a lot of Forza Apex, and I’m confident I can push it fully.

I managed to launch Apex smoothly at roughly 30 frames per second on a 720p display using a 2GB GT 640 and a 4430. It looks like the game is fairly well optimized for performance.
