Hey there! I've been playing CS:GO for a few days now and I've noticed my FPS drops to around 45-50 from the usual 80-100. After checking my system, everything seems fine—CPU usage stays under 60%, GPU doesn’t exceed 60%, RAM is ample (8 GB) and no background programs are running. The game runs smoothly on an SSD (Intel 530). I also reinstalled the game and updated drivers, but it still feels sluggish. Even with minimal settings, my FPS drops noticeably compared to maximum. It’s strange and not matching what I expect. Could someone help me figure out what’s going on? Thanks!

Recent changes in the game might be affecting performance. I recall that examining a smoke effect often reduced frame rates to around 15.

They're about to challenge me, but with a 60Hz display turned on and VSync enabled, you won't experience huge frame drops.
