I've got a Ryzen 3600X as my CPU. Previously, I faced an issue with my case ventilation and had to disable Core Performance Boost. After fixing it, I upgraded my case with a NZXT Kraken x53 and a larger case. Once I forgot to re-enable Core Performance Boost, my CPU ran hotter. Idle temps jumped from around 38°C to 45°C and full load reached 60-65°C. Now, during a firestrike test, I noticed random temperature spikes that didn’t occur when it was off. Could you explain why this might happen? Also, I’ve seen similar issues when using it in a desktop setup with Core Performance Boost off.
It makes sense since you boosted power usage, which generated more heat. (CPB activated) Where did you turn on the Core performance boost? In the BIOS? Which motherboard are you using? What reading software are you employing? Do you have HWinfo64 installed?
I own an ASUS TUF B450M PLUS GAMING and those two charts come from 3DMark (they display results after you run a test) and yes, I also have hwinfo64.
From single core boosts I suspect. It's typical to notice this when it enhances single-thread tasks. (advertised max clocks.) Disable that. Opt for performance enhancer instead. Level 3.

I don't have a TUF board, I'm using ROG. It's not clear if your system specs match mine. Performance Enhancer offers all the main boosts, with four levels to choose from. The tweaker part is likely for Core performance boost. Consider using Precision Boost Overdrive instead, or PE if it's available.
Consider your goals carefully. Some recommend starting at level 3, though others warn it might be too advanced for you.
