It's often asked on the forum about this. The term DDR means double data rate. If a memory is listed as 1200MHz, it actually operates at 2400MHz.

The 1197.6 MHz value is typical; frequencies are often approximated. For instance, my RAM shows 1499.3MHz instead of an exact 1500MHz or 3000MHz.
