Performance drops after motherboard chipset upgrade
You’re experiencing some unusual behavior with your PC after a reset. It seems the system is trying to communicate something about its status, but the lights are indicating problems. First, check if the BIOS settings are correct and ensure the EXPO profile is properly enabled. Make sure your power cycle was smooth and that the PC is not overheating. If the issue persists, try resetting the BIOS or consulting the manufacturer’s support for guidance.
The gradual startup is completely typical for AM5, especially when using MSI boards. On my B650 tomahawk it takes nearly a minute for the system to boot. During this time the CPU and RAM indicators stay active because those components are still initializing. Once EXPO loads, wait for Windows to appear before trying again.
