Hello everyone, here’s an overview of my current PC configuration and the link to my UserBenchmark results: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/63106099 I’m experiencing significant FPS drops while playing Elden Ring. I’ve adjusted various graphics settings without success. I want to note that there’s no overheating, and my CPU and GPU ratings are around 46 and 70 respectively. After checking online, it seems my PC should handle the game smoothly even at low graphics. Still, the performance remains unstable—FPS starts near 59 but plummets to 17–20 or even 5 before recovering. This inconsistency has made the game difficult to play. I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions based on my benchmark data. If you need me to run further tests or share more details, I’m happy to help. Thank you for your support in making the experience smoother!

Elden Ring, similar to many recent titles, suffers from poor optimization and significant shader compilation problems. Addressing these issues is extremely challenging. You'll recognize this pattern when it only shows up in new areas or under specific conditions. If the problem persists while you remain stationary, it's not typical. Additional details are required for proper diagnosis.

Thank you for your help! I plan to share some screenshots after testing my GPU and CPU with Cinebench R23 and Heaven 4.0. The same performance issues with Witcher 3 have appeared, such as stuttering and sudden FPS drops. My drivers are all up to date—Windows and Nvidia both running version 536.67, released on July 18, 2023. Here’s a quick overview of my PC setup: motherboard MSI B550M Pro-VDH, RAM 2x 16GB TeamGroup 3200 MHz, RTX 2060 Super by Inno3D, Ryzen 7 5700G CPU, and I’m considering an upgrade soon. The power supply is a Classic Xpower 500W 80+ White.

I’m looking for more testing tools and extra tips to help improve performance. As discussed earlier, my aim is to enjoy games such as Witcher 3, Hogwarts Legacy, and Elden Ring smoothly, even with reduced graphics settings. Stability and consistent gameplay are my top concerns, and I’m confident my PC can handle that. If you have advice on Nvidia Control Panel settings or other recommendations, I’d be happy to follow them. Thanks!

Do you know that Witcher 3 received a platform update in December 2022? I own two 2080 Ti graphics cards. The DX12 release doesn’t support SLI, so it only uses one card and scales the 3D settings for 30 and 40 series GPUs now. That’s why it feels limited. You might want to try running the DX11 version if you haven’t played it in a while.
