Today's performance has dropped significantly, falling by 100 FPS. Previously, smooth gameplay at 120+ was consistent. Could a recent patch be responsible? I experienced 20 FPS when playing on just one monitor, but managed to win. The overall experience was frustrating. It's challenging to play at such low FPS, especially with high-end specs like an Intel i7 4790k and a GTX 980ti. The FPS counter on my second monitor fluctuates between 38-45, especially when Dota 2 is running in the lobby. Is this issue linked to my client software or an NVIDIA driver problem?

Are the drivers current? Have you tried restarting the PC? Consider testing other games too—if they also experience frame drops, it could indicate a GPU issue.

It's not limited to Dota 2. Whether I'm using Steam or not, even Heaven Benchmark is stuck at around 24-25 FPS. The issue seems to be that turning off Heaven Benchmark on my second monitor causes the FPS counter to spike to 120+. This happens with every AAA game, even older titles, and it's puzzling. What's going on? The drivers are current. I didn't experience this problem yesterday.

The issue isn't Gsync itself. If it were, the game or program would consistently hit 24 fps regardless of settings, returning to normal speeds when switched off or using a second monitor. P.S.: I also tested Heaven Beanchmark in small window mode on the same Gsync screen. When Heaven is active it caps at 24 fps, but when I switch to the desktop and remove Heaven it returns to 120+ fps.
