Performance data from the game using Voltex Performance Engine
Hello, I’ve been conducting some in-game performance checks to gain insight into the stuttering problems I’m observing across several titles, even when overall frame rates seem steady. My focus areas include: average FPS, minor dips, consistent frame timing, and general pacing. Over multiple sessions, FPS stayed fairly stable, but there were noticeable spikes in frametime that coincided with less fluid gameplay moments. For these evaluations, I employed the Voltex Performance Engine and shared the raw data to offer an external viewpoint. I’m interested in how others typically analyze similar results: - are these timing irregularities common? - what steps do you usually inspect first—drivers, settings, background tasks? - when diagnosing stutter, do you prioritize frametime metrics over average FPS? Feel free to share more about the setup if you’d like a clearer picture. During testing with Voltex enabled, the experience felt smoother overall. Stutters became rarer, FPS swings lessened, and frame pacing looked more uniform across runs. While occasional high-frame-time spikes remained, they were less frequent and less intense than before. This didn’t significantly boost average FPS, but it did improve consistency and reduce noticeable interruptions during play.
