With adequate cooling, you can operate the CPU at full capacity using wall power. For notebooks with a thermal design comparable to the Acer Nitro 5 (9300H + 1650 mobile), you might need to limit performance to around 85%. That specific laptop’s cooling system is insufficient for the amount of heat it produces.

You can run the game smoothly at 3.8GHz without overheating, but setting it to 100% might increase temperatures further. Consider keeping it at 90% for better stability.

Identify your fan curve, then modify it so it reaches 100% at 85°C and then decreases steadily from there.
