Run it without adjusting the CPU frequency or voltage, just let it operate normally. The stock cooler with the 3600 model isn't large enough, and actual performance may vary based on the stress tests you run.

It's unlikely to cause harm if you stick with the settings you used, but prolonged use at high levels could affect performance or stability over time.

Running it nonstop at 95°C doesn’t immediately stop it but shortens its life. You’re also almost certain to hit throttling at that heat level. For better performance and longevity, consider upgrading your cooling system. A Hyper 212 would perform significantly better than the standard cooler without costing too much.

Running it nonstop at 95°C doesn’t immediately stop it but shortens its life. You’re also almost certain to hit throttling at that heat level. For better performance and longevity, consider upgrading your cooling system. A Hyper 212 would perform significantly better than the standard cooler without costing too much.

Welcome to Zen2 my 3600 runs at 40-55c 1,375v+ on idle and on load 80c-88c 1,300v+ these cpus are overall the most annoying chips to deal with because they essentially are set to a selfdestruct mode out of the box. Sometimes my 3600 reaches 1,550 ON IDLE! (the absolute max)

Bios disabled, AMD cool n quiet active, everything else auto. I’m not interested in tweaking anything and updates aren’t available until my upgrade comes next week. What I heard is that enabling manual overclocks on Ryzen can reduce performance by up to 50mhz in a few months. My cooler and paste fit perfectly. All settings except the two I mentioned are default.

The included cooler for the 3600 model isn't performing well. I've paired it with a 3900x cooler, and the temperature rarely goes below 72°C during gaming. Standard coolers don't deliver much better performance.
