I’ve bought a laptop from a local store and it comes preloaded with Windows 10, but there are extra programs already installed. Since the product key isn’t available, I can’t activate it. I’ve saved the Windows 10 ISO from Microsoft. How would you like to proceed with installing it?

The key is embedded in the laptop, and reinstalling it will turn it on automatically.

Link your Windows account with the current Windows 10 version, reinstall it, and during setup choose "I don't own a key." It will then automatically restore itself when you access your account on the newly installed system.

The process depends on whether the key is stored on the motherboard or the HDD/SSD. Changing or formatting one affects the other, but the key location remains consistent.

If you don’t have a Microsoft account, you can still use some services without one. Check the options available for your needs.

Yes, it turns off only when you replace the motherboard, something you can't usually do on a laptop. However, just in case—if you own a PC and wish to transfer Windows to another machine with a different motherboard or swap the one inside, simply create a Microsoft account. https://www.windowscentral.com/how-link-...ft-account

The device won't require any setup if it was turned on once while connected to the internet. After reinstalling, it should restart automatically. Changes to the motherboard or CPU might affect this behavior, but not in this case. For better activation after modifications, linking a Microsoft account to the product key is recommended.
