I have an AMD FX-8320e with a CM D92 cooler and an ASRock 970A G/3.1. I believe I've been fortunate with this chip as I've set it to 4GHz at 1.35v and it runs very well. I tested prime95 (with the fan speed around half to reduce noise) and it reached its maximum temperature of 50C. I'm planning to upgrade it to around 4.5Ghz for continuous use. My biggest concern is noise; at full speed the D92 fans can be quite loud. I had a thought to use a Peltier module to push cooler air into the case intake, lowering temperatures and allowing me to run the fans slower. Do you think this idea is feasible?

It might be feasible to use a portable air conditioner, which could be simpler and more effective.

You might be able to achieve the same result using a portable air conditioner, and it could be simpler and more effective. Do you think the idea would function that way?

I've come across something comparable that uses water cooling.
It could be a good idea to give it a shot.
