Recently I bought a GoPro 9 but faced lag when using it via USB for a webcam. Thinking it was just the app, I upgraded to an Elgato FaceCam and still had the same problem. After researching, I discovered that enabling Gen 4 could cause throttling on USB 3, so I switched it down to Gen 3 in the BIOS. They released a fix through a BIOS update, but I’m still experiencing issues after updating. It’s frustrating since my PC specs are pretty solid, and I can’t seem to get it to work fully. Anyone else had similar trouble? Hopefully the update will help.
