The video sparked my thought about returning to mITX, yet I opted for an eATX AM5 board for a specific purpose. The Fractal Design Ridge functions like an mITX version for an ATX case, though it doesn’t officially support eATX. Most units should work in most setups. My system’s compactness in a typical mid-tower form reminds me of mITX. While I adore his channel, it clearly won’t handle the full power demands of an RTX 4090 unless he switches to an 'eco mode' with reduced TDP. Including the 750W SFX PSU he added is below Nvidia’s suggested 850W for an RTX 4090. It wouldn’t be ideal for such high-end hardware in this build. For rigs other than RTX 4090, it remains a solid configuration.
