What is the maximum speed? Which drives and network cards are installed? The APUs only provide an x8 connection from the CPU, not an x16, which means the top slot will operate at x8 capacity, and the next one won’t work.

The Ryzen CPU doesn't have 20 lanes, though the X4 model does feature a dedicated NVME interface for the APU.

The Apple Silicon models only provide an x8 core in the main slots, which may limit the performance of PCIe NVMe cards or reduce their speed. What interface are you using? Does it require firmware updates?
