It seems like you're trying to convey confusion about recent changes, possibly replacing certain terms and questioning past decisions. Let me help clarify that.

The AMD Crossfire follows an open standard, meaning the manufacturing company decides how to implement it. Nvidia requires a paid certification for this.

Have you checked if your motherboard allows PCI_e Bifurcation before considering SLI support? This feature, often used in high-end desktops, lets multiple M.2 NVMe SSDs run on a single x16 slot.

My board is compatible with bifurcation. Check out the discussion here: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic...msg1939657

But I believed AMD claimed they no longer backed crossfire in their products... The only solution would be pairing two cards that were still compatible... So they upgraded to an X16 slot instead of an X8, even though it seems questionable. They skipped SLI to cut costs and certification fees. It looks like they intended to include SLI but got held up at the last moment. I’m curious if it functions properly, but they probably won’t list it. It wouldn’t be worth buying a card to verify.
