PCIE 3.0 Riser Issues …
My setup is complete, but my graphics card isn’t showing up. My motherboard and GPU use PCIe 4.0, yet they’re connected through a PCIe 3.0 riser. I changed the speed settings in BIOS to 3.0, but it didn’t help. Testing both parts separately confirmed they function normally. The riser I received is new from the manufacturer—probably working. I’ve been tweaking BIOS options without success. Research suggests updating the motherboard’s BIOS, but the site is down and unreliable. I checked Intel’s site and got no updates. My build is almost finished, yet the GPU remains undetected. I’ve tried other BIOS settings like PCIe Payload Size and ASPM, but nothing changed. I tested my GPU on another system; it boots and works fine. The motherboard slot supports a GTX 980ti. I’m unsure if the riser cable is faulty since it came with the case. I’m seeking advice—anyone else facing this issue?
