Hello, your question is quite specific! I'm curious about switching to a 4080 or 4090 GPU when they become available, especially if they fit most of your PCIe slots. You're wondering whether using a PCIe riser with an Elgato HD 60 Pro—or any similar capture card—would affect latency or performance. You think it should work fine since technically there shouldn't be noticeable changes. Do you have anyone who has tested this setup and shared their experience?

It functions equally well regardless of the outcome.

What kind of riser will work with your cards? Do you need to relocate the capture card for better airflow? Are you applying passthrough that might interfere? Ideally, everything should match how it looks with a card on a riser—no extra changes needed.
