PCI WiFi Card for $50
PCI WiFi Card for $50
I've used a PCI.E WiFi card for some time, but it only reaches about 60 Mb/s (it should be near 100). USB Wi-Fi doesn't improve performance and Ethernet isn't an option. Powerline also doesn't help much. My budget is around $50. Appreciate the info!

I lack a WiFi 6 device, which means I’m receiving around 440Mbps. It’s still quite acceptable.
Throughput on WiFi relies heavily on several elements such as distance, blockages, and interference, all of which can slow down performance. If you don’t see significant gains after switching to the new adapter, it suggests one or more of these factors could be affecting the connection. Still, WiFi 6 brings many enhancements that may help older hardware. In my experience, devices running Intel AX200 offer better stability over longer ranges, especially when linking to WiFi 5 networks. This is based on personal observations; I haven’t conducted official tests. Right now, trying a WiFi 6 router shows promising range and speed improvements.
